| Today is Australia Day. I worked just like I did last year. Workmates and I streamed The "Hottest 100" on Triple J radio all day just like we did last year. Its getting harder and harder to comprehend just how fast life is going by. Another year gone, many more to go hopefully. Have to keep making the most of it. |
January 25th: Dieback

| Starting my run back to camp from the mine gate. Dieback is a forest disease which is literally changing the landscape of Australia. We are required to wash down our vehicle prior to leaving site. |

| Fremantle is home to some of the best street performers and buskers in the World...Ok, maybe the best in Australia? Ok Ok. The best in Western Australia. Yep. |
January 20th: Scuba

| Scuba dive trip out to Rottnest Island. I couldn't go deeper than 7m. Ear troubles. But didnt get sea sick. Rottnest Island, approximately 12km off the coast of Perth. |

January 18th: To Be a Kid Again

| It pays to get lost. I didn't think I would be out until sunset or be running for over 2 hours through the bush in total darkness but it sure paid off. Great start to the week off. Location: Bibblumun Track (sorta) near Sullivan Rock. |
