January 28th: Daily Life

Gotta be done...The good news about laundry day is i only have one more sleep before 6 days of freedom.

January 27th: Big Sky Country

I have been lucky to live in Arizona and  Western Australia where the sky is always mesmerizing.  

January 26th: Speed

Today is Australia Day.  I worked just like I did last year.  Workmates and I streamed The "Hottest 100" on Triple J radio all day just like we did last year.  Its getting harder and harder to comprehend just how fast life is going by.  Another year gone, many more to go hopefully.  Have to keep making the most of it.  

January 25th: Dieback

Starting my run back to camp from the mine gate.  Dieback is a forest disease which is literally changing the landscape of Australia.  We are required to wash down our vehicle prior to leaving site.  

January 24th: A Day at the Office


January 23rd: Hi Ho, Hi Ho

Off to work I go.  Day 2 sunrise.  

January 22nd: Dance, Sing, Floss, and Travel

Some inspiration at the gym at camp.  Good to be back at the grind...

January 21st: Street Art(ist)

Fremantle is home to some of the best street performers and buskers in the World...Ok, maybe the best in Australia?  Ok Ok.  The best in Western Australia.  Yep.  

January 20th: Scuba

Scuba dive trip out to Rottnest Island.  I couldn't go deeper than 7m.  Ear troubles.  But didnt get sea sick.  Rottnest Island, approximately 12km off the coast of Perth.

January 19th: South Beach Backpacking

A convoy of backpackers do what they normally do: Dodge the afternoon sun at Fremantle's South Beach.  

January 18th: To Be a Kid Again

Kids playing on a sand dune as the sun is setting at City Beach.  I was heading to the showers after a 45 minute run in Bold Park.  

January 17th: South Beach

January 15th: Freedom Run Sullivan Sunset

It pays to get lost.  I didn't think I would be out until sunset or be running for over 2 hours through the bush in total darkness but it sure paid off.  Great start to the week off.  Location: Bibblumun Track (sorta) near Sullivan Rock.  

January 12th: Dieback

Dieback is a tree disease that is literally re-shaping the Australian forests.  We are required to wash down everyday when leaving site.  I see this sign everyday when running home from work.  (Boddington, WA)
