The rules are simple: I have to take the photo and the photo has to have been taken on that day. Due to my nomadic lifestyle, I am not able to post on the same day the picture was taken. I am an American living and working in wild Western Australia. I am a novice photographer, at best, and therefore more interested in telling the story of my life through a camera lens than taking remarkable photos and winning photography competitions. I hope you find my pictures and stories fascinating.
January 5th: First Aid Kit

Me too. really liked them. favorite band of festival. Actually good story...after midnight, when the acts finish there is an open mic night at the base camp where everyone stays. the girls actually showed up and played a Taylor Swift song to myself and about 20 people there hanging out. no even knew it was them i geuss because they were too drunk. anyway, afterwards i went up and gave the lead singer a handshake and said great job then abruptly walked away. i should have asked her to dance at the coconut club 100 meters away but i was trying to play it cool and "hard to get". haha. but still cool to meet them...
LOVE LOVE LOVE this band. Soooo amazing. Would love to hear them live. Their lyrics and sound are both amazing.
